Entertainment

If you ve exhausted the pleasures of the beach and want to go elsewhere for entertainment, Costa Blanca has a whole range of leisure activities lined up. Surely, you will never run out of things to do here.

It is a great place to take advantage of the fact you are on holiday and away from all that restricts you in your daily life – anything from a work commitment to a club membership can limit you opportunities with all things new and exciting. However, you’ll probably only be away from this routine for a maximum of two weeks and so it is important to do your research beforehand; you don’t want to be stuck in your hotel room for the first couple of hours of each morning working out what to do and where to do it – things which are especially difficult to plan if you are travelling en masse.

Great suggestions are water sports, cycling, a cookery course which incorporates local cuisine (you would certainly not regret learning how to make the Costa Blanca stewy vegetable rice dish, “La Olleta”!), learning Spanish or visiting some of the local hotspots for night time activity. You’ll see all these activities will give you a glimpse of local life, something unique for your Costa Blancan holiday. Avoid the night spots famous for the tourists – you may as well stay at home. Ask in bars where the staff go, ask your water sports or cookery tutors for some tips…you’ll see a whole new side to the resort and open your eyes to what real Spanish life is (a hint – it’s not about drinking litres of sangria!). A fun and novel idea would be to try your luck in a casino. You certainly don’t have to be a professional to be thoroughly exhilarated by Spain’s juegos de casino but we do recommend you invest a little time with practice beforehand – learning the rules and a couple of easily employed tricks to impress your audience. By doing the preparation, you’ll be able to take best advantage of your night at the tables and maybe even win enough to fund a second holiday!

However you decide to spend your time, try your best to incorporate the whole travel group into your plans. It isn’t as hard as it may seem to please everyone, especially with the long days of Spanish sun and the variety of leisure activities the Costa Blanca has to. All it takes is a little background work! At CostaBlancaSpain.biz, you’ve found an ideal place to start!
